The Marquis of Huntly, the Chief of the Gordons, has made available his banner (showing the Gordon arms) available to all pipe bands in New Zealand that wear any of the Gordon tartans. The banner is to be used by the Pipe Major, or in their place, the Pipe Sergeant, and are to be used on every occasion possible.

This page lists the bands that have this honour and shows a photograph of the principal piper from that band with the Chief’s banner. Each of these bands are also financial members of the House of Gordon New Zealand. This special page is to promote and honour these bands as official House of Gordon New Zealand Pipe Bands.
